August update

Well the UK summer weather has been pretty miserable but thankfully it hasn't curtailed any of our events so far

Since July 1st, we've displayed at Blackbushe 75, RNAS Yeovilton, RAF Marham and the Silverstone Classic where Russ and Andy performed as a two ship in very gusty conditions over a 3 day period.

Now as the nation goes on holiday we're in a slightly lower gear with a less demanding schedule.

Gazelle Squadron is operational for 2017.

The Squadron is now fully prepared and the 2017 season is under way, our display pilots performed their routine in front of a CAA examiner at Kemble in early March and succesfully received their Display Authorisation.

G-ZZEL, which is still in it's civilian colours received it's permit to fly in early April and it is hoped that XZ321 our Gulf war Gazelle will receive it's permit before the end of April, this is the result of an outstanding effort over the Winter and Spring seasons by our engineers at Falcon Aviation.

A busy start to 2017

The Team are working hard in preparation for 2017 .

We have enjoyed a number of successful training days over the winter during which the crews have been rehearsing and familiarising themselves with formation practices

At the same time, the groundcrews and technicians have been labouring to prepare the 2 new airframes for the season, these new aircraft which include our Op Granby Gazelle are awaiting CAA inspections to secure their permit to fly certification.
