Well the UK summer weather has been pretty miserable but thankfully it hasn't curtailed any of our events so far
Since July 1st, we've displayed at Blackbushe 75, RNAS Yeovilton, RAF Marham and the Silverstone Classic where Russ and Andy performed as a two ship in very gusty conditions over a 3 day period.
Now as the nation goes on holiday we're in a slightly lower gear with a less demanding schedule.
Our volunteer ground and air crews work tirelessly to provide a fun, safe and educational experience for all visitors, some just want a photograph, whilst others engage us in detailed conversation over the specifics of the aircraft.
A recent message from Laura on our Facebook page tells us that our attitude is a good one....
"Hi, I saw you guys at the RAF Marham families day today where you let my autistic son have a look around your helicopter. I just wanted to personally thank you for taking the time to talk to him and also for your patience. The way you spoke to him and how you were with him, really made my day as he can be quite difficult sometimes and it's not often that people make him feel as comfortable in a situation as you did. He loved looking around and took a few photos himself as a keepsake. I just wanted you to know that I came away feeling so happy just because of how kind and friendly you were and it's stayed with me all day so thank you"
