On June 15th the Squadron will fly WW2 Glider Pilot veteran, 94 year old Ian Kerr-Bonner from Pembroke to Kent in order that he may attend the funeral of his lifelong friend Des Page.
At 94 years old and in failing health the logistics behind Ian's proposed visit to Kent were considerable and the Squadron were approached to see if we could help in any way, so we accepted the challenge and will be flying Ian to the funeral
